David Sylvian, Klaus Nomi, The Cure, The Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Sisters of Mercy, Duran Duran, Japan, David Sylvian, Tory Amos, The Sparks, Tears for Fears, Thompson Twins, Ultravox, Morrissey, etc
It really depends on my mood. On one hand I prefer plot and dialogue driven movies, on the other hand I am a sucker for gonzo special FX, on the other hand I have been known to be a whore for campy films. So that means I go from The Colour Trilogy: Red, White, and Blue, to anything dealing with the earth blowing up in a cataclysmic bang, to the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra
Television
Don't own one. I Killed My Television!
Books
Favorites include: Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Harry Potter Septilogy, Larousse's Gastronomique, Bo Frieberg's The Professional Pastry Chef, Dornenburg and Page's Culinary Artistry, The Fran Lebowitz Reader, any book related to food, the Sedaris's (Amy and David) most of Gore Vidal's works and anything by Edward Gorey (RIP)
Heroes
I'm too much of a realist to have a hero. However, isn't there always a 'however', to me a hero is someone who knows who he/she is, acknowledge's his/her flaws, is honest with him/herself is sturdy, trustworthy, and is willing to help when asked, and more importantly is able to ask for help when he/she needs it. To be a hero is to be ideal. Humans are flawed. The concept of ideal does not contain flaws, ergo humans cannot be heroes.

Yeah, those kind of jackets seem to have the worst luck. Chris' Swans jacket with Jarboe's signature on it grew legs and walked. Next time you are in Albuquerque, let us know. Otherwise, come visit us in the UK. We are going there for a year in September....
