This London-based duo spellbinds their fast growing audience with their unique sound and lyrics, powerfully stimulating the listener with an eclectic blend of jungle, drum'n'bass, rock, jazz and orchestral sounds. Their lyrics are a visual whirlwind journey sweeping the mind in an instant from one mystical, philosphical, esoteric, political or historical world into another. Ruah's music is equally powerful in their live performance as it is on CD. Although they are using guitar synthesizer and electronic drums, nothing is recorded in the studio that they cannot play live. Having tested their programme successfully in live performances in the London circuit since May 2002.
"Ruah is unique -- especially as it's a two-man band. It's refreshing not to have the bass, for instance. There's a nice spaciousness in the music. And plenty of room for two excellent musicians to stretch out. Some of the feel has the "epic" quality and time signatures, etc., of prog rock of the 70s. However, the stellar production and arrangement - and in particular the drum/percussion sound - mark it as 21st century." Scott Wheatley, Los Angeles

Hey!
thanks for sharing the music.
it's nice to discover a different aspect of your playing / writing.
very interesting stuff. I was worried when I saw "electronic drums", but it is apporoached as electronic drums and not acoustic drums so the result sounds very cool and unique.
take care,
Aurelien
Servusz Janos,

It was a really good idea to come search me.
It's clear it's different than the duo but we feel that there is the same finger on the string,
As we said: the apple tree do not make pears,

Hi János and Savash,
I like your music all. You are really Gerat!
In my opinion, your influences are David Byrne and Brian Eno like the magnificent My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts, what I like too...
My favorit here is your Lapis Lazuli Dream...
Thanks for your kindly invitation and your music.
Sincerely, Ladisz
(Csak nem Te is János...lenni magyar?)
