Hi, I'm a fiddle player, I'm 25, I've been playing for about 16 years now. I studied music at Strathclyde university where I specialised in classical violin. My main project now is my duo with accordionist Angus Lyon. We released our second album in 2006 called '18 Months Later'. Working on a new album at the moment - should be ready some time summer 2007.
Below is a video I put together from footage shot during the recording sessions of the '18 Months Later' album. Location is 'An Tobar' on the island of Mull, west coast Scotland.
Hey..remember me? Teri and Tims neice. I was wondering, are u guys coming to Lunenburg again this yr for the festival? hope everything is going good :)
Hey! How's the weather over there? I just want to let you know that i'm coming to the UK in late May/early June to play bass with Kevin Montgomery and Tommy Allsup. Tommy played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens. I figured that with you being a musician that you would really be able to appreciate this show.
We play a few shows in Scotland, but we don't have a Glasgow show. We do play very near there though at a place called Irvine on Friday, June 6th. I hope you can make it?
We won't be doing my material, but it is a really special show, and Tommy is a true rock'n'roll legend.
Anyway, take care and hope to see you there.

Heylo! Just wanted to let you know your music has hit the streets of Montreal...well, the cafe that I work in anyway :) I bought your cd after the Celtic Connections fest and I've played it in various places as I've travelled around. Anyway, my boss loved it and I even had customers coming up to ask what it was! Alan was pretty chuffed to hear that haha.
...you guys just played in Vancouver this summer?! Poop stick! Probably not coming round these parts for a while now, eh? (I consider Seattle and Vancouver round the same parts)...
Any progress made on the Orkney Island Hop video footage? Not heard anything of it for a while, though that's probably for the best... Need to catch up in Glasgow sometime - that's me here at uni until Christmas. I hear jakedness a callin!
Hey there! Hope the sun's shinig in Nova Scotia the way it is here and the tour is good. My computer just started playing Mirlees Lane randomly (and happily) so thought I'd say hello. Mum's in Nova Scotia too, you haven't seen her have you?
Don't listen to Craig, North Ronaldsay was hilarious, well you know, obviously not The Same without you guys but it's a great place.
