Da RUBBERSLIME inzwischen das zeitliche gesegnet haben, benutze ich die Seite weiter als meine eigene. Mein Solo Projekt -ELF- gab es von 1996-1999 und danach habe ich mit Dirk (Slime Sänger) und Marco (HBW), Olly (Abstürzende Brieftauben) und Minne (Rubbermaids, Rubberslime) die Band C.I.A. gehabt, die auch nur ca. 2 Jahre am Start war, aber zumindest eine richtig geile Scheibe rausgebracht hat.(C.I.A.: Codename:Freibeuter). Von dem Album habe ich noch einige Vinyls hier rumliegen, die ihr gerne bei mir kaufen könnt. Einfach eine Mail schreiben, dann alles weitere. Vive Le Punk!!!

The Band RUBBERSLIME’s first appearance happened at the "RETTER-FESTIVAL" in Hamburgs famous Soccer Arena “Millerntor” in 2003. That Festival was a solidarity gig for Hamburgs one and only soccer club FC. St. Pauli which got into financial trouble. The organizer wanted to have the original SLIME line up for the show but that was impossible. So guitarist ELF (former Slime member) phoned the original Slime vocalist Dirk to ask him if he would like to do a program with some old SLIME numbers and other stuff from their band C.I.A. together with some of the other musicians of that band, Minne (guitar/vocals) John (Bass) and Dynamike(Drums). The gig should have been a one off show but it went so well ( over 8000 people supported the band) that the guys decided to carry on playing more gigs in Germany.
Next thing to do was the "FORCE ATTACK WARM UP TOUR” 2004. The Band didn’t want to go on tour without a record and so they recorded the Live Album “First Attack” .
Unfortunately this record is sold out now.
Next step was the recording of an album with new written numbers called “ROCK’n ROLL GENOSSEN” (Rock’n Roll Comrads) released in April 2005. The music turned out to be powerful and melodic Punkrock, German style, with charismatic vocals and german lyrics that are political with a sense of humor and irony.
RUBBERSLIME played the biggest german Punkrock Festival “Force Attack” in 2004 and 2005 and made it to the main stage, playing in front of maybe 10000 Punkrockers and other maniacs.
In Novembre 2005 vocalist Dirk left the band and Elf and Minne decided to carry on by sharing the vocals because both guys had been lead singers in other bands before and found themselves able to do that in a proper way.
In 2006 the band played a few gigs and split up in 2007 because too many different interest of the bandmembers (Jobs, Family, etc...). Elf is still playing guitar with "Die Mimmi's", check the myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/diemimmis77

Woran (nicht nur) Deutschpunker sich erfreun, ist das Taugenix, speziell die Nr. 9. Denn mit vielem bunten Allerlei, kommt es gerad frisch aus der Druckerei. Wers kaufen oder entwenden will das gute Heft, der tue das im Punkerfachgeschäft. (Ab Freitag - 15.05.)
