.. ...... .... ..Ruben Gomez has shined in the limelight for over two decades as an international singer and actor. Brooklyn-born Gomez began his career acting in television commercials and performing jingles for national advertisers. He went on to study acting and has held leading roles in several productions, including Broadway's "Oliver", seven off-Broadway productions and the feature film "A Time To Remember". At the age of 10 he released a solo album entitled "No Es Una Illusion", the Spanish version of "Puppy Love" made popular by Paul Anka and Donny Osmond. .... In the 1980's, Ruben became the first non resident of Puerto Rico to join the internationally acclaimed group Menudo. .... In the 1990's he appeared on the Musical CD "Z-The Masked Musical" as "Diego/Zorro", and released his first solo album titled "Ruben Gomez" with Arista and production by Daniel Freigberg. .... In 2000 "Siempre Manana" was released in Germany, where he had a lengthy tour. The following year he released the single "Baila Baila Conmigo" in Spanish and English, reaffirming his success in Europe. If you live in Europe and have ANYTHING (pictures, news/magazine articles, videos, etc.) of GOOD quality, I am asking if you can share them so that I can share with the world what all I have done. I am also looking for a GOOD quality copy of my performance on Star Search and if any of you happen to have a copy of any of the ads I did as a kid (I.E. McDonalds) that would be great too. I DO plan on thanking EACH of you who can help and we will also make sure that you are credited in what you submit. I thank you ahead of time for any and all help you can give us.
