Winchester locals, Rubicon sponsor and organise with Reskue Skate Shop, the Winch Jam 2008. Proper sick atmosphere, thanks to everyone that showed up and to the locals that organised it all. You reap what you sow. Check out the full video thanks to Southern Dynamics or on Sidewalk .. Mpora.

Europe's biggest action sports and music festival - The National Adventure Sports Show (NASS 08) saw Rubicon sponsor the first ever Girls Skate Comp with Lois Pendlebury taking 3rd, Sam Bruce 2nd and Helena Long 1st with Sam picking up some extra dollar for Best Trick with a frontside boardslide down the rail over the G gap into the bank.

Rubicon teamed up with Callum Bowran (UK Skateboard Freestyle Champion) to help Nintendo launch their new game "Skate" at GameStation. Great event.

About me:

Rubicon Skateboards are proud to run a down to earth British skate school as well as week long residential skate camps. We're all about Supporting UK skateboarding - and with our team of regional instructors providing tuition for schools and county councils on a daily basis - we're doing everthing we can to make skating more accessable.

Ride or die...

This years "Something for the Weekend" skate comp run by Reskue Skate Shop in Southampton saw the Winch crew and Rubicon riders called themselves "Boozetrain" and lay down some brilliant footage. Watch it below or on Mpora and then head off to Myspace to vote. More Skateboarding >> The Winch crew featuring two Rubicon riders scooped none other than 5 prizes at the Reskue Skate Shop "Something For The Weekend" comp including Best Team and Best Trick by Geoff, our Head Instructor. Power rigs, lights, skating through the night, editing the next day, you name it...
