About me:
“I am not such a fanatic as to say that the occasional indifferent performance (of music) leads directly to mental or moral ruin, but I do assert that the frame of mind induced by habitual indifferent performances of music, or of any act whatsoever, and which leads to the uncritical acceptance of the same by a number of slack and devitalized intelligences is verily, a forcing house of mental and moral disease.”I NEVER check my MySpace email, so maybe don't bother. I am easily found at www.markrubin.com
Pretty damn egocentric and vain for somebody so overweight.
Regularly excuses expectionaly boorish behavior on being a Leo.
Awfuly urbane for a product of the Oklahoma Public School System.
Regularly speaks German, Yiddish, Serbo-Croat and Spanish, but in the same way Peggy Hill speaks Spanish, which is to say not at all.
Strangely active in the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows, a member of Capitol Lodge ..23.
Alternately proud, thrilled, inspired and appalled by Southern Culture.
Fiercely Jewish, but in a strangely Goyische way.
Tragically flawed, but not in the cool genius kind of way, but more like the sad, pathetic kind of way.
Or at least that's what they tell me....
Please, buy my stuff so I don't end up one of these Mortgage Crisis stories: (click on a CD cover to order)

hi men what's up?
I thought you never came on here anymore? I have caught you in a lie. A LIE SIR!
Happy Birthday, Mark!
You are a trip.
He just came back from the tour with her few months ago. Not sure if he's regular member or he just did that tour.
Very nice guy and great player!
Greetings & FLT from Santa Rosa #53!
There is only one blog on the web that I've read cover to cover.
And I'm a better man for it: http://markdrubin.blogspot.com/
Thanks for the great shows at the Parlor and the Cactus, great stuff.
Hey kids! The weather calls for sunny and 70 on saturday 12/27/08. Grab your family, some dogs and burgers and come out to our house to celebrate Dave's 41st birthday. I will provide potato salad, baked beans, chips, iced tea and coals for the pit. Bring anything you want to burn on the grill or any alcoholic beverages you might want to drink. Childen are welcome as mine will be there too. Please let us know if you plan to attend so I'm sure to have enough food for everyone. If you're a music friend and want to bring your geetar (guitar) and strum a chord or 2, feel free. Otherwise, we might hook up the karaoke machine. Just an informal Saturday celebration. Hope to see you there. Peace and love!
