Check out our shows section for a show near you and in the meantime here's a review from Faster Louder.com re: Rubix Cuba's tour supports in 200 of Royal Crown Revue (US) & The Mad Caddies (US).
Royal Crown Review, Mad Caddies and Rubix Cuba playing at the Roundhouse; what a combination, what a diverse crowd. From the serious swing crowd to the pumped up punk rockers, it was a wicked turnout and fun was had by all.
Rubix Cuba from Newcastle hit the stage at about 8:30pm with some swing type covers, and a dancing rubics cube that was bopping around the stage flailing its arms for the entire set; very funny. The venue's main floor was only a quarter full, a rather poor turnout, though they didnt let that stop them and by the end of their fourth song they had drawn a large number of people out from the bar. All in all, a high energy, funny antics filled set. Keep an eye on these guys and girls in the future.
The floor became crammed as soon as Mad Caddies leaped onto the stage for an action packed fun filled set...
Rubix Cuba are always just around the corner with a show full of high energy and dancing. check out the tunes and where we'll be playing next above.

BIO
Rubix Cuba: an 80's commercial fad crossed with a communist stalwart.
A contradiction. Ska for pop fans, pop for ska fans and so much more!
Whilst appearing happy on the outside and in their music, Rubix Cuba are a deep and melancholy band (not that you'd guess it) with songs from the heart...which they wear on their shirtsleeves!! The Rubix Cubans bring a ball of energy to any stage and are bouncy, photogenic and annoyingly catchy.
Rubix Cuba draws influences from a variety sources including ska, rock, funk, punk, swing, jazz, latin and Cuban. This makes the band a musical feast for listeners and a visual carnival for gig goers.
The band explodes in a ball of energy on stage (most days) so check out a show near you...and see a giant dancing rubiks cube in the flesh...CUBIE!!!!
For most of 2008 the Australian seven piece known as Rubix Cuba have been bouncing around the country on the back of their latest single release, "Come Round." The song comes from the soon to be released debut album for the band, "With Life".
Since forming in November 2001, Rubix Cuba has performed a stack of shows, including shows alongside Reel Big Fish, The Porkers, Xavier Rudd, Laura Imbruglia, Area 7, The Butterfly Effect, 1200 Techniques, Maya Jupiter, After the Fall, The Spazzys, The Testeagles, Sick Puppies, Unpaid Debt, National Pornographic, Killing Heidi, Endorphin and Mick Hart. In recent times Rubix Cuba have had the privilege to team up with MXPX (US), Lagwagon (US), Frenzal Rhomb, The Managers (NZ), The Bronx (US), The Von Bondies (US), The Mad Caddies(US), The Fumes and to tour with the kings of cool, The Royal Crown Revue (US).
The highlights thus far of the band's relatively short career have been:
(1) Their tour with Neville Staple's Specials in New Zealand;
(2) Their tour with The Special Beat: a super band consisting of members from the The Specials (UK) and The British Beat(UK) in Australia; and,
(3) Their 2005 tours with the Royal Crown Revue in 2004 and 2005 including the Mad Caddies (US) in 2005.
(4) A seat of the pants tour of North and South Island, NZ, in July 07.
