  • Music

    I do like to listen to the Corridos, Banda, Duranguense, Cumbias, as well as Pop, Bachata, Reggaton, Techno, and other amazing sounds. I am not as into Rock like I am with the other types of music so I try and avoid rock. Sounds like a bunch of sticks and rocks being pounded with one another. Not into that.

  • Movies

    Love comedy. I watch a lot of comedy because then I learn a few jokes and at the same time it helps me maintain a decent personality so that my friends are never bored with my being. Humor is always attractive as long as it is not the type that is all over the place. What I mean with that is by abusing the humor by coming up with lame stuff, or doing a bunch of clown like things. One of those people who do so much that it is just not even funny hearing/looking/or being around of. It turns into something very annoying.

  • Television

    I do watch telenovelas. I have been watching the new one with Fernando Colunga and have not missed not one show air time. I love the way he acts, and cannot deny the fact that he is still a real hotty! He sure looks good for his age.

  • Books

    My favorite book would be “Beyond the light and above”. That book not only kept me entertained but had me thinking every time I was done reading it. It made me wonder what is it of us when we are to pass away. What is heaven going to really be like and why is it that so many people claim to have seen the light yet they have different stories at times. I really recommend that book to everyone who has a fond of this sort of material.

About me:

Hola Everyone. My name is Ruby Barajas but everyone knows me as Ruby Preciosa. I got that nickname from my parents a long time ago and eventually got out and my friends ended up using that for me as well. I can be as calm as the moon and the stars when they shine in the dark or I can be as outgoing like the videos you see on TV regarding spring break, just more aware of my actions so that I am not looking like a fool or showing off anything that my mother would not have shown off. I am living in Fresno California and have been living here in the city for a long time. I am Mexican (Acapulco Mexico) and have a lot of pride in being who I am and where I come from. I still enjoy listening to the corridos, and Mexico Music. I do eat Enchiladas, Mole, and carne asada. I feel like every Mexican in the United States is losing a piece of their culture by not knowing how to speak proper Spanish, or even eat the food that we grew up with or at least our past relatives. I do try my best to get others back into that but not many are as willing. That is when I end up losing some interest in those people. I feel as if we all need to help one another, and hold on to that side of our “being”. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Mario. I have been with him for a good amount of time and believe he is just as amazing as my favorite singer. Mario is really into sports, and has got me into that as well. I have always loved going out to play a game of ball but not as much as I do today. I have worked from one job to the other. I have worked with handicapped people to a fitness gym. I enjoy learning new things and meeting new people. I love all my friends! And really value their friendship.

Who I'd like to meet:

I am interested in meeting friends who have a set mind as to what they want and I sure hope they have the same interests that I have. I do have a few pet peeves but don’t we all? I would also like to meet Leona Lewis someday. I enjoy her music and enjoy her personality. She is not like other artists you see on TV who are out to show off their “bling bling” or their fancy cars are houses. She is a simple girl with a bright future. I love that about her.
