Inspired by groups such as; Kings of Leon, The Strokes, The Beatles, Kaiser Chiefs, The Living End, The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Django Reinhardt, Bob Dylan, Lcd Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, CLPSY, Daft Punk and many more, Rubycon create a new and exciting sound.
The three brothers Sam, Max, and Riley (13) have been playing together, acoustically, busking in the streets for years. It was not until they plugged in and bought Riley a drum kit, that they realized they needed a bass player. The recent addition of their friend Reuben (on bass) has added a new dimension to the band.
You look as though you wanna know about a bunch of gigs, yeah? Well, here you go then! First off, we’re bringing the scene back to the Southside (which is without a doubt the best side) PJ O’Reilly’s is the setting for Mudd Nights, a gig held 2 out of three Wednesday’s.
