Sounds Like
Nails across a blackboard. My favourite pitch, timbre and tone. Not to everyone’s taste, but then often the most melodious thing you can hear, are the words ‘…say Good bye, my love…’
So, here we are, my darlings: just you, me, and this small computer screen between us. I know what you’re thinking: goodness, isn’t this a turn up for the books. A nervous look towards the door, a quick check that no one has locked it behind you. Don’t worry, anxiety is quite normal in my company. If it helps at all sweethearts, I myself am perfectly at ease – but then I know exactly what’s going to happen next...
I never have been an huge fan of technology - just like ‘change’ it smacks too much of the proletariat. “The means of production in the hands of…” oh, I never can remember those sorts of things.
Anyway, the crux of the matter is, here was a wonderful channel through which I could touch the lives of far more people than Nanny would ever normally allow - she does fret so.
(To be fair to Nanny, most of the lives I touch do seem to come to a rather truncated and somewhat messy end…) Well, you see my point. Which is sharpened nicely, and maimed, I mean, aimed with precision: right between the eyes. Don’t look away now.
Some of you may not leave alive, but then, I’m guessing you knew that already: surely my reputation prowls before me, no?
[Incidentally - I adore parties, and soirees...do feel absolutely free to contact me and enquire about booking me for an event.]

Chloe has tracked down long-lost brother Richard. only trouble is, Richard has no idea who she is. He was washed up on a beach twenty years ago, with no memory of where he came from.
Together they must face family ghosts, a set of faded newspaper clippings and an ill-fated visit to the seaside.
Part mesmirising thriller, part tender reflection on the meaning of home, this is a new play about what happens when everything you know turns out to be wrong.
