GeneralRUBY HARLOW hats are unique, and one of a kind. Hand sewn & stitched. Fabrics most used are silk and stretch satin. Florals and trim are silk, satin, or velvet. Each hat comes wrapped in tissue, and has a Ruby Harlow label sewn into it. Feel free to ask me to make one for you! Just tell me what you have in mind, and I'm sure I can do it. My prices are very reasonable, and I also do trades.

About me:Ruby Harlow, how it began: During fashion design school while working on my debut collection, I decided the outfits I'd made needed cocktail hats as the final touch. What I had in mind was nowhere to be found, undeterred, I decided to make them myself! Years later I learned that my Victorian era ancestors were milliners. In fact, my great grandmother was famous for her gorgeous hat collection. I suppose the love of wearing and making hats runs in the family! My favorite type of hat is the "Cocktail Hat." If you recall the glamour eras of the '30's and '40's you will understand why. Worn perched forward on the head, often at a tilt and generally with a veil, no other hat in history has provided the same intense allure and mystery that a cocktail hat offers. Called the "cocktail hat", back then, because it was usually worn in the evening at a "cocktail hour" these days they are worn by daring dames to just about anything: burlesque events, fashion shows, art parties, weddings, photo shoots... Just be prepared for heads to turn! No one seems to be able to resist a gal turned femme fatale...especially one wearing a Ruby Harlow cocktail hat! ..
