About me:

For starters I like honesty, great kitchen gadgets, pinot noir, backpacking, Stephen Hawking, Chicago, cups of coffee while reading the Sunday paper in my pj's, mountains, laugh lines, flea markets, faith, Annie Dillard, a clean house, roller coasters, midnight, driving with the windows down and the radio up, gourmet meals, horses, rope swings, a secret garden, integrity, a great bath, a loon's call at night, massages, respect, hot chocolate by the fire, Dr. Seuss, a cold beer and a hot dog at the ball game, inquisitiveness, sexy shoes, a soft touch on my neck, being a little goofy. I'm an awesome parallel parker, but I rarely watch TV. Someone who knows me well described me as "fun yet responsible, serious yet goofy, orderly yet not obsessive, forgiving but not forgetful, caring but not smothering, loving but not sappy, and open to make the best out of life." Sometimes I dream that I'm a figure skater and can glide on the ice and do graceful turns and spins. I prefer to eat popcorn with a spoon.

Have you ever been so lucky to listen to a nearby wolf pack's yips and howls while sitting around a campfire with friends or nearly walk into a horny bull moose in the wild? Those memories were worth every blister.
