SANDIE....the 'face of Ruckus' has only been singing 'seriously' for a mere 8 years. She has been captivating audiences for the last 35 months with her stunning connection with crowds from Healesville to Tamworth. Her performance on stage and on our CD has won her many fans and award nominations locally and nationally. Her songwriting capability is evident in "Dance Cowboy Dance" which catapulted Ruckus to winning Best New Talent at the recent Whittlesea Victorian and National Country Music Awards. In her spare time Sandie is a devout mother of two...congratulations to Derek and Jamie too for the addition of Geordyn to the Ruckus clan!!

MARCELA has developed quite a profile in the country music scene since joining Ruckus. 24 years of playing experience has assisted her in reaching the dizzy heights of earning a Golden Fiddle Award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival (Best Soloist Category). She has been playing country and bluegrass for 11 years with a wide variety of bands, touring Europe and Asia. Her blistering speed during our live performances has dazzled crowds and whipped up a cult following!! Ruckus have added many solo fiddle pieces (including some of Marcy's own compositions) in recent months. In her spare time Marcy teaches violin professionally and she's also a dab hand at the keyboard and mandolin. Married to Sean (one of the best blokes you could meet).......these two are great contributors to the Ruckus family.

KEVIN: Kev comes from a long and traditional line of country and rock performers. This boy has been doing gigs since he was 12 years old and has been playing and singing for as long as he can remember. Coming from a musical family, Kev has been raised and spoon fed on country music and old time rock 'n' roll and brings a blend of experience and styles that suit Ruckus to a tee. Enjoy the full-on harmonies and driving bass bottom end that Kev brings to the band.

MICHAEL: If Sandie is the face of the band, then Mick is the mouth (no disrespect intended). As lead guitarist, back-up vocalist, great Aussie bloke and band leader - this guy has tirelessly pushed this band from its modest beginnings to its current success. Mick has a solid background in the pub and club scene has taken to the country rock scene like a duck!! Behind every great man.....you know the saying....so we must also recognise the efforts of Meredith (Meres) behind the scenes....as their combined efforts have allowed Mick to relax and mingle with HIS crowd to his heart's content!!
