This really is the official MySpace page of the Rudy Trouvé Septet. Rudy does have the login and regularly sort of checks, but he really is computer shy, so the day-to-day updates are done by Heyme who also keeps up the www.heavenhotel.be pages..... The Rudy Trouvé Septet was formed around Rudy Trouvé around 2001. Then it was a quintet, which grew to sextet with his 2nd release, and is by now a septet. Rudy's biographie is huge, he was/is key-character of bands like Kiss My Jazz, Lionell Horrowitz, dEUS, Dead Man Ray and The Love Substitutes, and created the record label Heaven Hotel so he could release all music without being bound by Major record-labels as he hates promotion, touring and working on one project at a time. .... Most of the songs are about his daily life, a theme re-occuring and is the glamour of depressions, also in his paintings. Many of his musical compositions are referring to his extensive record collection, and influences of Chet Baker, Joy Division, Rip Rig & Panic and The Stooges are highly apparent. .... Rudy was released solo in 2000 on 'subsonic 6', an album with him on one side, and Lou Barlow on the other (on the vinyl version, it also was released as a CD). The album was released by the label 'Rosa'. .... This was merely a collection of old 4-tracks, and a few new ones for the occasion. The first true Rudy Trouvé solo release on Heavenhotel was released May 2002, the single 'une chanson', which preceded the first full CD '1999-2002'. Second CD 2002-2003 was released in 2004, and the next release is planned for September 2007. All covers are from Rudy Trouvé's original paintings. .... For the last few years he has been closely coöperating with the theatre 'Braakland/ZheBilding, where he is taking care of the live music during plays like LEV, 'Dansen, Drinken, Betalen' and Trust (with Mauro Pawlowski), and formed a new band 'Rudy & the unforgaettable Wally's' with 2 musicians from the play 'Why am I in Scotland'. .... see ..www.heavenhotel.be.. for more, the 1st CD is still for sale, 2nd is almost sold out, 3rd one out now... .... ..Releases.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .... ..Video's......
