grounded was conceived early in 2002 in an effort to bring uplifting and meaningful music to the local scene. our roots are in rock and roll and we choose songs that lyrically express our hearts. we are very candid about our faith and feel that many songs of today can bring a message of hope in a seemingly hopeless world.
the strength and soul of grounded lies in the well-meshed harmonies which you may hear embedded in a wall of sound or threaded through a delicate ballad. our original tunes capture the spirit of grounded and sometimes include guest artists. even though we are getting up in years... (ahem) we like to think our sound spans the age spectrum. why don't you be the judge.?
our covers cross many genres and styles but the underlying theme is 'music with a positive message'. we feature an array of artists such as the beatles, the eagles, natalie merchant, crosby, stills, nash & young, green day, joni mitchell, renaissance, the indigo girls, james taylor, tom petty, van morrison, los lonely boys, and jars of clay in our repertoire. yeah, random!!

So my friend getting his photo business stated and needed some pictures for the bridal show, so I volunteered to pose for some which included "trash the dress" scene. Needless to say I did not use my own dress.
