About me: MGHAPI is a Group which formed in 2006 in Illinois. We have since relocated to Indiana. We are completely non-profit and never charge a fee for our services. We also have a small portion of our Group still located in Streator, Illinois.
Our Goal is to Investigate and Research the Paranormal in the hopes of finding proof of its existance and to help those who feel that they might be haunted. Our ultimate hopes are to join with others in this endeavor along with the use of technology and personal experience to achieve this goal.

You are all invited to a Paranormal PicNic at McCourtie Park in Somerset Michigan.
BYOD (bring your own drink) and a Dish to Pass. I will be extending this invitation to other Michigan Paranormal Groups (and any out of state groups that wish to attend!.
Date: Saturday, August 30th. Time: 11am to whenever! Where: The Haunted McCourtie Park in Somerset Michigan Why: A Paranormal Meet and Greet of course!
After the Picnic I thought we could all head over to the Haunted Lakeside INN for music that night. Be sure to bring your investigation equipment if you want to check out the park (and the Lakeside Inn;) Also if you have things you sell or you are a psychic bring your things and your skillz! McCourtie Park:
McCourtie Park is located U.S. 12 in the Irish Hills region just west of Brooklyn. William H. L. McCourtie transformed his 42 acre estate into a one-of-a-kind beauty back when this part of Michigan was considered "up north". A walk through the park will reveal a surprising number of bridges. Each one is unique and each is made of concrete
There are two trees made of concrete that are actually chimneys. The birdhouses are capable of holding 200+ birds! A woman in blue is said to haunt the old store! This story is also featured in a Haunted Michigan book! Lakeside INN in Somerset Michigan:
The Lakeside INN is located just minutes (maybe even seconds) from McCourtie Park
Ale Capone is said to have frequented this bar. The Lakeside has many many stories of hauntings. From the woman who cries beneath the cooler (it is rumored an ex owers wife is *cough* buried there. Also visit the women's rest room and see who you see in the mirror *hint* it might not be yourself!
