In a Nutshell... Ruin Nation Records is NOT a Band but a DIY Non Profit Record Label and Distribution for radical anarcho punk music and literature. Based in Germany we stock mostly Books and Zines that are not available in translated versions but are still very necessary and important to us. Freedom Press, AK Press and Active (etc) Titles available for Retail or Wholesale. As well as a HUGE collection of Crust, Punk, Hardcore Records on Vinyl, CD, Tapes, Clothing... etc. - A complete catalogue with over 1000 items is available online. - We value a strong more than music attitude and hope to inspire the kids out there... as cheesy as it may sound we try to give away things as cheap as possible to make them affordable to everyone and spread the word, as it was once the intension of a alternative DIY punk scene before the rise of semi DIY professional business operators. * DEMO POLICY:
...This is a small independent DIY organisation with limited possibilities and probably only release 2 - 3 Record Releases every Year. Sometimes more if i can afford to do so. Usually the release plan is far more ahead than i actually are beable to release the records finally in time. See catalogue number 14 / 8... Very important is that i 100% like the music, the message and the people within and behind the Band and that there is a good feel with it to provide more than just a service!
I love to hear new stuff and learn to meet new people so if you think "Ruin Nation" may be the right choice, please submit your Demo Tape or CDR to the PO BOX Address on the contact Page. please be very patience with a reply as i..m really busy these days and try to cope with the amount of (e)mail every day.
Please DO NOT send any MP3 files or "Record Deal" Emails via My Space nor our regular email address - NO EXCEPTIONS!! - Neither will i listen to your Band on My Space, Last FN or MOG to get an impression. If you want me listen to your stuff you have to send a tape or CDR, Vinyl etc... and i will Listen to it and respond.

* GIGS, TOURS, BOOKING:
I have no longer the time and energy to take care of booking Tours since the Mailorder and Label became just too much work and i need to have a bit of more spare time for my own and my partner. Theres much better and organised people around who do professional booking on a DIY Level and since My Space appeared, the whole "Touring Situation" increased as well. - so, NO MORE BOOKING from here... - I can set you in contact with People who might help out but thats it.
I..m still involved in the FRIESENCREW / Bremen Concert collective. If you want to enquire for a Gig in Bremen feel free to ask. But keep in mind that we usually are fully booked way ahead, soo please ask at least 3 months before your gig is sheduled (!)... ok?

...and remember MY SPACE is NOT a cool institution, so please do not send anything you dont want the wrong people to read via this site. Use our regular Email for Mail-order as well. We..re all prostitutes... so the only purpose of this website is to prop. a Do it Yourself Not for Profit Anarcho Punk Distribution.
