O Rui Pedro desapareceu no dia 4 de Março de 1998 quando tinha apenas 11 anos. Hoje terá 20 e a família não tem certezas sobre o seu aspecto. As fotos que aqui se apresentam são retratos-robot a partir dos quais se espera obter alguma informação sobre o paradeiro do Rui Pedro.

O Rui Pedro é um dos meninos desaparecidos em Portugal há vários anos.
Cinco anos após o seu desaparecimento em Lousada, Porto, foi descoberta uma fotografia que poderia corresponder ao adolescente. Filomena Teixeira, mãe de Rui Pedro, viu-a e identificou o seu filho. A fotografia foi encontrada pela TVI num ‘site’ de pornografia infantil, local onde habitualmente as fotos são trocadas e compradas entre pedófilos via Internet, que actuam numa poderosa rede internacional . Para além de fotografarem as crianças, muitas delas foram filmadas em cenas de sexo explícito, exibidas também no Jornal Nacional daquele canal televisivo. Mas a Polícia Judiciária Portuguesa não deu continuação às investigações, porque eram só parecenças, e, por incrível que pareça, esta pista caíu no esquecimento.
Foi criada pela família do Rui Pedro uma Associação Portuguesa de Crianças Desaparecidas à qual te podes associar e contribuir para ajudar a procurar os nossos meninos desaparecidos e dar apoio às famílias que sao vítimas desta situação tão dolorosa.

Rui Pedro is one of the portuguese missing children for 9 years now.
5 years after his disappearance in Lousada, Oporto, a photo that could lead to him was found by a Portuguese TV network in an Internet site of paedophilia, a site where members of a powerful network exchange and buy pictures and videos of children being sexually abused. Rui Pedro's mother, Filomena Teixeira, immediately recognized her son and tried to reopen the investigations. But, as incredible as it may seem, our Police said they couldn't trust in simple similarities and the clue was forgotten.
Rui Pedro's family is creating the first association of missing children's families and friends to put pressure on the authorities and provide help and orientation - Associação Portuguesa de Crianças Desaparecidas - which you can join and contribute to send our missing children back home, as well as supporting the families going through this dramatic situation.
