Ruled By Reason officially began in September 2008, but our roots stretch back even further! Between January 2005 and August 2007, Sam Newman and Matt Tarach were a part of a band by the name of Decameron (see our top friends). Decameron parted ways for various reasons and for the next year things were rather quiet, until by sheer coincidence Matt and Sam shared a college course in Music Theory. Matt had been writing music with Chris Glavac and Brian Montgomery for several months and it only seemed appropriate for Sam to join in the fun. Alas, in December of 2008 after a great deal of worrying as to where a singer would be found to complete this great lineup, Jason Dean was welcomed into the mix. The rest is history in the making! We are always striving to improve upon what we do and we intend on cultivating something great with this band. The bottom line is we're simply musicians doing what we do best, makin' some tunes! So be our friends, visit often and enjoy!!

Well thanks for the link guys... Being on a real with out offending ya all.. Da singer need to stop shouting,,, lol I personal like to hear the story of a song, musically you got some rocking beats, drummer get wicked... but i like to hear what singer trying to convey as well as the riddim. So my advice singer tone it down, express your emotions and let us the listener hear what you got to say.. that real ROCK for mE!!!
