Called "One of the hardest working bands in South Florida",
Ruling Mercury share their music by playing out as often as possible. Having now performed live over
200 times, they have played venues from Gainesville to Miami, opened for National Acts,
and have done numerous engagements for the military. No venue is too big or too small,
and no situation is foreign at this point.
Always working on original material, Ruling Mercury began recording their debut album in May 2007,
combining songs written by the members before they met, and songs created as a group.
The result was "Kindle", a 12-track album titled after the band's original name. In addition, they have
completed a 5-song EP of newer material. Ruling Mercury has received airplay, and has made television
and radio appearances in the Palm Beach area on WiLD 95.5FM, and CBS affiliate WPEC TV - 12.
With all of the craziness and negativity in the world, Ruling Mercury offers a positive rebuttal in their music.
Having achieved all of the goals they set for themselves in the first two years of the band's existence,
they are motivated and excited about the future and look forward to bringing you their music.

I must have missed one hell of a performance last night while staying home with my injured 12 year child because I got a dozen "these guys are AWESOME" text messages, phone calls & comments on Facebook & Myspace. To all of them, I will respond, "I told ya so." : ) Oh, and THIS brought tears to my eyes (goosebumps, smiles & tears-- that's what your songs bring to me): You are simply the best. xoxo, ~ judy
Thanks! for the 'add.' The website should be launching Mid-Sept. I'm a HUGE proponent of LOCAL talent. This has been a TERRIFIC 'hobby' for me! Will keep you posted! ;) Great Page!
So I talked to Gus the other day about our "gig" convo, and he informed me that I'm quite possibly the most gullible person on the planet! Obviously I had no argument at that point, but even if I did, he wouldn't have been able to hear me over his laughter anyway.. so I thought I'd just stop by and say THANX for pointing that one out!! ;)

So as soon as I can figure out how to say "Gig" in Spanish I will get you a hookup down in the Dominican Republic.. or, I guess I could just ask Gus huh..? Ha! Talk about an afterthought and a blonde moment all in one!! Ugh, that happens to me wayyy too often! lol
