    Spread the Rumah... Because he's the Truth "Catch the phrase" even though our parents might have scolded us if we participated in rumors; however, this Rumah has proven to be the truth. His quality vocal talents delivered with impressive artistry has landed the now 21 year old, two consecutive Best Pop/R&B Male Vocalist awards at the Bahamas National Arts Festival in 2008 and 2009. In addition to those feats, he was presented with the 2009 music award for Best Vocalist at his high school graduation ceremony. These accomplishments were testaments of his natural vocal abilities and have proven that his pertinacity towards perfecting his gift was not in vain. Rumah, born November 29, 1991, in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas, began nurturing his incipient interest in becoming a vocal artist at the age of 6 by the inspiration of his relatives. Apart from his relatives, Rumah's earliest influences being Brian McKnight, Babyface, and Maxwell have helped the young vocalist to hone his singing abilities while shaping his own soulful yet contemporary style. The young crooner has now created a sound that he says, "Is all for the ladies". And with this passionate sound, Rumah is ready to soothe hearts, share his personal experiences, and get a party going in his home country and throughout the world. A party that started with the release of his first official promotional single "Party in da 242 (Beautiful Night)" on the 2nd of July, 2012, for the Bahamas 39th Independence Day Celebrations. It caused a frenzy in the media. The single debuted on More94 94.9FM, and it garnered international exposure with additional exposure through radio interviews on the Guardian Radio, Star FM, and Island FM. Moreover, he has received international spins and additional radio adds for the single on many of the national stations as well. Furthermore, he has been featured in The Punch, TheBahamasWeekly.com, BahamasLocal.com, Bahamas Press, The Tribune, Brutha Magazine, and The Freeport News. The Junkanoo single "Party in da 242" was even requested by the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture to be performed to our Independence Celebrations for both Freeport and Nassau ceremonies. The party continued as the Ministry of Tourism requested that he give an encore performance at the 2012 annual Junkanoo Festivals in Freeport, Bahamas. Rumah is quickly becoming a world class voice of our generation. He has garnered over 12,000 likes on Facebook, over 10,000 subscribers on Youtube with over 17 million lifetime worldwide views on the channel, and over 22,000 Twitter followers with the international appeal of his voice, his brand, and model good looks. He confidently believes that with his tenacity, with the right support, and with his ever evolving talent that he can be heard internationally to bring global attention to his country.
