"Rumble Pack" is Andreas Märki and Philip Guillaume from Zurich/Switzerland.
Both started their way first as DJs back in '96 on small parties in Switzerland. Some years later they started to produce their own music, and made an education at the SAE School in Zurich as "Sound Assistant" to get the basics of sound engineering.
From that point things got more seriously and finally the first album called "Mirage" was released in 2004 on Millennium Records /UK. It was under their former name "Blue Vortex".
Since then, several releases as "Rumble Pack" where done on Labels like Vision Quest, Mind Control, Utopia, Oxygene, Mahogany, Midijum and a lot more.
They perfomed live on festivals like Fusion, Vuuv, Antaris, Ozora, Atmosphere, Psychedelic Circus, Biocosma and more, in several countrys in europe like Germany, France, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Danemark and of course in Switzerland.
In April 2007 they finally released their first album as Rumble Pack called "Packed and ready" on the two french labels Mahogany Rec. / Morphonic Rec.
They are also responsible for the project "Natural Flow" wich is a side-project for progressive psytrance. Some releases where done on Labels like Groove Zone, Domo and YSE. They made aswell a rmx to "Andromeda - Atmonizer" wich was released on the latest Andromeda album "Sensations".
After having appiered on more then 30 compilations and two album releases, played live all over europe, they are now concidered as one of the leading acts comming from switzerland.
Constructed as a twisting, bounding, spiraling adventure through the minds of these two talented producers, ‘Branes’ consistantly grows in attitude and involvement: years of dancefloor adventures are clearly etched into the basslines and leads that emanate from each and every track, including the epic Weird, Sick & Twisted remix that has already been tearing up dancefloors across the world! Cutting-edge production and depth of emotion makes this debut offering from M-Theory destined to redefine your world!
While nowadays it often seems like all the Psy Trance labels either reduce the speed of their releases and turn to more and more body-orientated club sounds or crank up the tempo of their music to rather hectic levels, Solar Tech Records delivers an excellent selection of tunes that keeps the golden mean: With tracks between 142 and 145 BPM the music is powerful, driving and very psychedelic on the one hand but also progressive in the original meaning of the word and does not get stressful or kitschy at any point. For this second compilation label owner DJ Natron extended his network of promising producers from South Africa, Switzerland, UK, Germany and South America and again presents some sparking pearls for original Psychedelic lovers.
