oh geez-ok. old timey music that rocks. French-canadien music with grit. Swing music with great vocals. singers that can place words just so... so, um, that would be - The Highwoods string band, Tommy Jarrell,, La bottine Souriante, Billie Holiday. Barack Obama. Does he sing?
we play lots of music for dancing, contra dancing, square dancing, swing dancing, hambos, schottische, waltzes. You could even have a great time listening to our cd while you are cleaning your house. It doesn't have to be in the dance hall, though that's where you may know us from. We play in a lot of the granges, community halls, nice wooden church floors... you can hear us there, making people dance, making them happy... that's our goal...what else is there?
