Rumor is originally from Mesa, Arizona. His mother and father divorced when he was 3 and by the time he was 13 he was already way too much for his mother to handle. He was sent to live with his father in an attempt to keep him from getting further involved with the gang and drug life that had engulfed his neighborhood and at the time it was obvious that it had made quite the impact on him and it was very apparent do to his frequent runnins with the law. While away, he got his hands on a N.W.A tape that he had stolen from a record store and that's when his obsession with gangster rap began. His new found hobby didn't completely stop this negative activity but it definitely did its job in curving it. It gave him the outlet that he had been searching for all of his life. As an artist Rumor has always been on the go and filled with ambition. He has recorded hundreds and hundreds of songs independently but refused to release any of them because was never satisfied with the sound quality. Rumor truly felt that if people were going to listen to them they deserved the best! As an artist Rumor has always strived for perfection and he would never compromise or settle for less. He has affiliations with artists such as Juice from Black WallStreet, Baby Bash, Kokane, ZigZag from NB Ridaz, Gemini, among many others, He has performed in shows locally and as far away as Brazil. Rumor has finally reached the point in his life where he wants the world to hear his music and he will stop at nothing to achieve this. He is currently in the Studio working on his solo debut ironically entitled "RUMOR HAS IT". Its obvious that he has kept his eyes and ears open to the street. His laid back delivery and catchy hooks definitely makes him stand out from the rest. When asked what kind of genre he thought his music fell into, his response was gangster rap, hip hop, etc. He simply replied "It is what it is, Ill let the people decide".
