EUROPEAN LUST Jo and Arnau hail from Barcelona, but moved to London in order to follow their collective dream, the passion of necessity that demands they write, rehearse and record their beautiful, incendiary music.
They met through a shared desire for the same girl, but soon realised they had too much commonality of vision to argue, so with the help of Miki Mestres formed the band Rumori, a name that comes from the futurist manifesto of Italian artist Luigi Russolo (The Art Of Noises, 1913). Eschewing this monicker in order to become the more relevant European Lust, the duo entered the recording studio with famed producer Miqui Puig, and recorded three tracks in Summer 2008
The results of these debut recordings are to be found on the band’s debut EP… European Lust (COMING SOON!!!).
