Biografía
Rumors of Gehenna sees the light in 2002, as different musicians coming from the Italian metal and hardcore scene decide to join up their talents. The lineup is officially established in 2005, and in 2006 RoG records its first 3-tracks promo album to considerable critical success. The band begins its partnership with Alkemist Fanatix Management Agency. Riding the wave of success, RoG has the big opportunity to play alongside world-famous bands such as Stratovarius, Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Shai Hulud, Twelve Tribes, Raging Speedhorn and renowned Italian bands like Domine, Dark Lunacy, SlowMotion Apocalypse. In only 18 months, RoG plays more than 50 shows nationwide, topping off the first semester of 2007 with the opening act at the only Italian performance of the famous metal band Testament. Ten Hatred Degrees, RoG's first full-length album, is recorded between August and September 2007 at Studio 73, produced by Riccardo Pasini (Ephel Duath, The Secret, At the Sundawn) and supervised by Carlo Bellotti (Alkemist Fanatix), mastering is done at Principal Studio in Senden (Germany) by Vincent Sorg (..Caliban, Grave Digger, In Extremo..). "THD" is released in 2008 on WormHoleDeath Records, and distributed by Aural Music, SPV and Audioglobe.RoG is busy promoting its first discographic release performing on many live-shows throughout Italy.The same year Mirko Sgobba leaves the band, and in summer 2009 Max "Mug" Chiarandini joins RoG, officially establishing the new lineup. At the beginning of 2010, RoG officially leaves Alkemist Fanatix's roster, signing a national exclusive deal with Booking&Management Pigsty Concerti Agency. At the moment, RoG are busy working on the very much anticipated sequel of Ten Hatred Degrees, which will almost surely see the light in winter, between 2010 and 2011. -

Detrimentum sign to Deepsend Records and announce new album release

Extreme metallers Detrimentum and Massachusetts-based Deepsend Records are proud to announce the forthcoming album INHUMAN disgRACE. The recently inked deal means that the UK metallers have found a solid base at Deepsend, and are already making plans for their recently completed sophomore album.
Guitarist Paul Wilkinson explains how the deal came about “We sent a copy of the finished album to Deepsend and they seemed blown away by it, describing it as "the kind of quintessential death metal album that Deepsend love". We're ecstatic that Detrimentum has found a home with Deepsend Records and we're looking forward to the release of INHUMAN disgRACE.”
He continues: ”When the album is launched, we will be getting on the road with as many shows as we can humanly play.”
The album, which was recorded with legendary producer Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir) at Parlour Studio in Kettering, is a crushing blend of dark, technical and epic extreme metal with sweeping melodies and tortured doom passages.
The album will be available in the stores on the February 2012 but will be available from the label and band on October 31st 2011.
