Quotes from DYNAMO reviews:
"Lader man først ørerne snurre ind i Rumpistols klangrum, slipper man til gengæld ikke så let ud igen. Han har konstant fat i lytteren og formår med imponerende variation at dreje sit flotte lydunivers som en roligt roterende prisme under en hvælving af små glødepærer. Resultatet er både intimt på en mørk og smuk måde, men også overraskende og konstant stimulerende." - Simon Lund (Politiken)
"Dynamo marks a triumphant return to the field, filled with warm electro-acoustic timbres and patchwork beat." - (Boomkat)
"Heldigvis er Dynamo et ofte stærkt komponeret, altid varmt klingende album. Uden overrumplinger, men med en fin skønhedsdyrkelse, håndværkssikker detaljerigdom og sans for drama." - Ralf Christensen (Information)
"While the new album is very much in the vein of his past work, it's now cohesive like never before. The disparate influences he taps into mold together beautifully; experimental and pop sensibilities merge into a wonderful sound that demonstrate the careful precision of Christiansen's craft. Where a lot of electronic releases have flopped this year, Rumpistol is set to steal the limelight." - The Silent Ballet
"In drei Worten: Welch schöne Musik!" - Blumberg (DE:BUG)
"Perhaps the best aspect of Dynamo is its individuality. Certainly, the concepts contained within are all culled from previous sources - such is the case in electronic music and virtually any genre around today. But the songs themselves, wrapped up and put together, are distinctly Rumpistol's own. And as far as contemporary electronic music goes, they're top of the line." - Matt Shimmer (Indieville)
"Rumpistol gelingt mit »Dynamo« ein beinahe klassisches Electronica-Album." - Christoph Braun (Spex)
"A collection of elegantly constructed pieces that constantly slip between the fingers, refusing to stay still, writhing and wriggling around each other. Beautiful harmonic structures topple over spiralling rhythms, leaving you spell-bound." - Robin Rimbaud
aka Scanner
"Although Dynamo is dense, it’s never overbearing. It’s minimal without being vacuous, ambient without being negligible. With a deft electronica hand and dubstep as the thread, Rumpistol weaves an intelligent musical patchwork." - Dom Alessio
(Cyclic Defrost)
"Eine schöne Kammermusik" - Lacazz (Vibe)
"With 'Dynamo', Rumpistol has made a flowing and totally inviting album that will captivate all but the most heartless of listeners. Its glistening melodics, brooding atmospherics, oozing basslines and complex micro-orchestral arrangements gel with such harmonic intent that the power of the end result is nothing short of enchanting. Highly recommended to all who require a shining beacon to get them through the dark depression of Winter." - KS (Experimusic)

"One of the most heartbreaking electronica albums I heard since I am able to listen to acoustic pressure. Thank you Rumpistol!" - Michael Mück (Cuemix Magazine)
"Totally filled with small sounds, great bass end, weird ideas being thrown in and still enjoying myself. This music is damn good." - Frank De Waard (Tokafi Vital Weekly)
"Amazing - 'Dynamo' covers many sonic territories but still makes a really coherent album. emotional, melodic, abstract at times, there's so much incredible detail... and the most finely-crafted yet enormous bass I've ever heard." - Antony Ryan (ISAN)
"With Dynamo, the third Rumpistol album and first after a three-year interval, Danish electronic producer Jens Berents Christiansen shows he's kept his ears to the ground and nicely expanded on his past work, particularly in the heavier rhythm emphasis that pervades the new material. More specifically, the Rump Recordings head bolsters the album's eight songs with bass-heavy funk and dubstep grooves, a move that reaps significant rewards." - Ron Schepper (Textura)
"The melody seems to be used as the glue that keeps everything tight and functional and each time you'll listening to the eight tracks you'll discover something new." - Maurizio Pustianaz (Chain DLK)
"Die 3. des Dänen, dessen Bandhintergrund stets positiv die Trackarchitektur bestimmt, ist ein absolutes Kleinod." - Honker (TERZ)
"Dynamo is very nice music, a beautifully constructed soundworld full of detail. Warm and dreamy, but still with a groove to tap your foot to. Typically music that's hard to label but to dream away on and surely to appreciated by people who are into the more cinematic types of modern (electronic) music." - Martijn Busink (Musique Machine)
- Jesper Buhl (GAFFA)
Rumpistol started as a musical solo-project in 2001/2002....
Apart from producing music, I also run the label Rump Recordings....

New Album Coming Out In October 2008:
I finally finished my third album!! It will be released the 20th of October on Rump Recordings on digipack CD and double vinyl, and it contains 8 tracks and a nice little poster. The first track on the CD has been out on Project Mooncircles The Heart On The Right Spot compilation in a slightly different version.. Some of the tracks I've been playing live for a couple of years now, and some are brand new... Been working on it for a looong time, so really looking forward to get some response.. The cover is done by Bottega Areté and looks like this:
Thanks for adding me. Your glitchy drums in Refleksion was beautiful. I enjoyed the reversals and the acoustics. I liked that drum beat in GT. You have a really interesting melodic style. Keep up the awesome work and keep in touch, J
