Run is a hard hitting 3-piece rock band, out of Los Angeles, CA
In early 2001, Run began playing the local LA club scene. After a few years of playing, writing & recording great rock tunes, the band got its first real break. In 2005, our first single, "Wasting Away", hit the airwaves. Run was suddenly being played on radio stations across the United States. Over 20 stations in major US markets aired the single, most of them adding it to their regular playlist. To support the single, and our full length album, "The Itis", we hit the road.
With a van, a trailer, and enough cd's & t-shirts to support ourselves, we began our journey. Meeting & really connecting with our fans around the country. 2007 was spent in studio, recording our second full-length album, "The Bitter End". Since then, the music of both albums has continued to receive thousands of internet downloads and Myspace plays. 2008 was an exciting year for the band & our fans. We got back out on the road & spent most of the year touring. We played 34 shows and overcame a few hurdles along the way. Perseverance and support from our incredible fans kept us going, making a solid mark in the Southwest.
After a great year of playing local shows, we knew it was time to get back to our fans around the country. Mike, Darren & Ricky will be spending 2009 touring the Midwest with regular stops in the Southwest as well.. We’re looking forward to another amazing year. Hope to see you out at the shows.

RUN, MJS Productions has the top 2 dj's/promoters from Hawaii, G-Spot and Quiksilva, coming to San Diego for a show called "Aloha" at Air Conditioned on Monday June 29. This is their only San Diego / West Coast appearance this summer!
