Sounds Like
Sounds like old-time in a warehouse loft. sounds like the radio that you thought you lost, but found the next summer in a neighbors treetop. Sounds like Racoons unionized. sounds like you just have to listen for yourself.
I write songs that climb mountains. They meditate on gravity, color and flight. They have gotten their hands as dirty as they get. They eat their bran cereal. They are good little songs.
I was born and raised in the oldest mountains in the world. True to my French heritage, I eat a lot of soup. I once read the bible for 24 hours and then climbed on the roof of the post office to watch the stars and consult the Goddess. I lived in the desert and have never been the same. I love old-time dance music, gypsy swing, big earrings, racy ladies and tender men. I love to sing, and strum, and stomp.
I play with The Blackberry Bushes and my Famous Band.
I'll never turn down a hot toddy or bog wine.

Sorry that it's taken so long for our response--we were out digging for treasure in sandbars and dreamdunes. We came upon some rare gems, and now we'd like to pass some of their shimmer on to you!
thanks for all the photo comments. the new songs sound great, though your voice sounds a little different than i remember. three cheers! i LOVE 'sugar babe'...i've always loved that song. and if you've got no use for that red rocking chair, i'm sure we'd be able to use it around here come August!
