- Classified as "Contemporary Pop-Art", Jamess modestly just refers to these pieces as "my artwork"."I've always been fascinated by the way Warhol would look at the most seemingly "mundane" subjects and everyday objects and decide "you're going to be a star" and with that, it was done, pouring his energy and marketing talent into making it happen and making the world belive that they had to have a piece of that image, to be part of "that" crowd. That is similar to what I believe in most of my subjects. Whether I love you or hate you or just see something I think the world needs to see more of, I definitely feel something for the persons that I'm putting in my artwork."
-Pushing himself to try new techniques, materials, and subject matters he has made a name for himself by working larger than most without losing the detail and quality of his work.That has always been one of his main focuses."A portrait isnt a portrait if you have to ask yourself who tha person is..."states Jamess when asked about his commitment to detail.Many works have either been for projects or galleries but none of his pieces stray from his personal desire to create a certain mood,to convey a specific message.
