Music
Anyone can like the sound they are listening too, but it's the lyrics that make music great. Here are some lyrics that meant something to me either in the past or the present...
Nothing can survive in a vacuum. No one can exist all alone. We pretend things only happen to strangers. We've all got problems of our own. It's enough to learn to share our pleasures. We can't sooth pain with sympathy. All that we can do is be reminded -- We shake our heads at the tragedy. Every day we're standing in a time capsule. Racing down a river from the past. Every day we're standing in a wind tunnel. Facing down the future coming fast. It's just the age, It's just a stage --
We disengage -- We turn the page...Looking at the long-range forecast. Catching all the names in the news
Checking out the state of the nation. Learning the environmental blues. Truth is after all a moving target. Hairs to split, and pieces that don't fit. How can anybody be enlightened? Truth is after all so poorly lit.
Rush- Turn The Page
Threw you the obvious. And you flew with it on your back. A name in your recollection. Down among a million, say: Difficult enough to feel a little bit...Disappointed, passed over! When I've looked right through, to see you naked and oblivious, and you don't see me. Well I threw you the obvious, just to see if there's more behind the eyes of a fallen angel...Eyes of a tragedy! Here I am expecting just a little bit, too much from the wounded
But I see, see through it all, see through...And see you!So I threw you the obvious. Do you see what occurs behind the, eyes of a fallen angel...Eyes of a tragedy! Well, oh well..Apparently nothing, apparently nothing at all. You don't see me, you don't see me at all!

RunninAmok Last blog of the 08 fishing season is up...Hockey season is here! view more
About me: Here goes…I am 37 years old, but at times act as if I am 21! I am single, and follow my own code…Work hard, play hard…and treat everyone around you with the same respect you would want in return. I own my own business, and have a great cast of people around me on a daily basis. I have a great family which I am close with, and a lot of very good friends that I would do anything for. I have two passions in my life. My love of Offshore fishing, which at any given time in season I may disappear for a couple days on end, and travel 100 miles offshore in search of what lurks beneath! No matter how stressful life can be…that all disappears when you cast off the ropes off and motor out of the marina. I also religiously follow the NY Rangers. I write a blog covering the team which you can view here http://www.dailystache.com/ I am a big proponent to the rougher aspects of the game. Hockey to me is the greatest sport in the world, even though it is commissioned by a little prick that has never played the game in his whole life! The game is fast paced, it can be violent, it can be poetic! You are held accountable for your actions, well somewhat…and the players involved for the most part are a different breed. They are good people, and they play the game by unwritten code. It is what seperates hockey from any other game. I have traveled to Vancouver, Toronto, Florida, Vermont, and New Jersey all for my love of the game of hockey. Next years adventure will take me to North Dakota to watch my first Fighting Souix game! I manage to keep myself busy with my two passions, but rarely will that ever effect my work week. I can proudly say I have not missed a day of work in about 3 years now due to illness. I am normally the first one in and the last to leave. I do this now, so one day I can retire, and look back at life with a sense of accomplishment! I have two dogs…Mudge and Madison. They are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I baby them as much as possible, and wish at times I had more freetime to spend with them. I have done rescue work in the past for Rodesian Ridgeback Rescue by fostering dogs for them and checking out homes for potential adoptors for a rescued Ridgeback. Ridgebacks are an amazing breed. In the past they were bred to hunt big game in Africa. More specifically Lions! Thus, the breed is quite a combination. Ridgebacks are incredibly agile, they are lightning fast, and quite possibly of the smartest dog breeds out there. They are also very independent! So you need to constantly keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I am currently making an attempt to write a book. As of now I guess it could also be considered a long short story! It is about the Texas Tower, which was an offshore early radar installation off the coast of LI/NJ. The Tower went down in a violent storm in the wonter of 1961. 28 airmen and civilian contractors perished at sea that day. The wreckage now sits approximately 50 miles off the coast of Long Island or NJ depending on which Inlet you are coming out from. It is a hotspot for offshore fisherman, and the wreckage is now home to a large variety of fish. It is one of my favorite places to go offshore. I am a conservative Republican, I fully support our troops overseas, and pray for their safe return.
Who I'd like to meet: Gina Carano...and marry her!
Gary Bettman so I could ask him how in the hell the greatest game on Earth is commisioned by such a little helmet!
William Hung so I could slap a nerd sign on his back!
OJ Simpson so I could kick him in the balls!
Capt. Frank Mundus so I could pick his brain.
Colton Orr so I could thank him for bringing legitimate heavyweight status to the NYR.
Fedor Emilianenko to ask him if he would ever fight in the UFC.
Any of the Fried Chicken brethren!
