About Running On Empty

"From the embers of a dying dream one final spark lit the touchpaper of possibility... " (unknown) Formed in 2002, 5 talented musicians converged together in a small town in western Pennsylvania outside of Pittsburgh to make music that will change the world! Lead by main songwriter, Caleb Gaul, Running On Empty is the vehicle for his vision to bring his music to the masses. Surrounding Caleb is a combination of raw musical prowess and strong conviction. Co-songwriters Peter Gramm on drums and Shawn Kipfer on lead guitar, with JP Robles on keyboards and Chris Brown on bass. Like the finest steel forged into an amazing musical weapon, ROE has composed a strong set of material sure to be on airwaves in the near future! Showcasing their incredible set for audiences and music industry representatives in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York, their work has brought them many faithful followers! Caleb Gaul is the consummate frontman, bringing in audiences with his powerful lyrics and amazing vocals. Shawn Kipfer adds elements of funk and punk with his incendiary guitar playing, JP Robles gives warmth and support as well as eclectic pads to the ROE sound. Also, he adds DJ elements, with record scratching and turntable talents! The rhythm section of Gramm and Brown is the HAMMER AND ANVIL of the band! They give the rock solid bottom and feel to the ROE experience like no others can. To hear their music is a great! To see them live is ROCK MAGIC!!
