   RunOn!'s Blurbs
About me:
The birth of Run On's first Dallas store came in March of 1995 when Bob and Rebecca Wallace purchased Phidippides. Concerned they may never be able to spell it correctly they quickly changed the name to Run On!. The two had been doing running event management and race timing since the late 1980s.

Bob had some previous running retail experience and a notable running resume. This coupled with Rebecca's ability to talk to strangers made for an exciting beginning. About a year later the store relocated from the original Greenville and Lovers location to Mockingbird Lane. Soon after came the birth of the Richardson store. Currently there are 4 stores in the family: Dallas, Richardson, Coppell and McKinney.

Today Run On! has grown to include four locations and over 60 employees. The core business is still fitting runners and walkers in the appropriate shoes and gear but Run On! has grown to become a brand symbolic of living a healthy and fit lifestyle.

For the past two years Run On! has been voted as the number one running specialty store in Texas by readers of Competitor Texas and named one of the top 50 running specialty stores in the country by the Running Network and Footwear Intelligence.

Who I'd like to meet:
Walkers, joggers, and runners of all levels. Run On! is dedicated to helping you achieve your personal fitness goals. Wheter it be to complete your first 5K or qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Stop by any of our four metroplex locations and get to know our friendly, knowledgable and inspirational staff. To find your closest store or to learn more about us please visit www.runontexas.com.

Run On!'s mission is to inspire individuals of all ages and abilities in achieving their fitness goals through our comprehensive product line, enhanced service and training.

Today's "Too Cold to Hold" was my first ever 5K race. Instead of being exhausted afterwards, like I expected, I've spent the day WIRED!
I had a great time.
Thanks!

Thank you! i've been a loyal shopper since 2001. I'm looking forward to the fall races! My times aren't great in the summer. I wish there was a RunOn near Frisco.
I'd like a new running club!

I am on my way to training for the White Rock Half Marathon with Team in Training, but more importantly, I'm raising money to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.

If you would like to make a donation for the cause you can make a quick and secure online donation at the following website:

On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support. I greatly appreciate your generosity.
