"You Better Work!" is the phrase RuPaul coined and ultimately turned into a battle cry for the dance floor with the number 1 song "Supermodel (You Better Work)" in the early 90's. RuPaul skyrocketed to international fame with the release of the CD, SUPERMODEL OF THE WORLD, which was followed by roles in several movies, THE RUPAUL SHOW on VH1, many high profile endorsement deals (including a beauty contract with M.A.C Cosmetics), a wax portrait at MADAME TUSSAUDS MUSEUM in Times Square, a best-selling autobiography and fund raising worldwide for people living with HIV/AIDS.
In 2004, after a 4 year hiatus, RuPaul returned to show business with the release of "RuPaul Red Hot," which garnered 3 top ten dance singles and the best reviews of RuPaul's astonishing career.
2005 saw RuPaul's legendary night club act tour worldwide and the unveiling of THE RuPAUL DOLL, which has out sold all expectations and is still racking up blockbuster sales.
In 2006, RuPaul was working overtime with the release of "RuPaul ReWorked," a collection of new dance remixes from RuPaul's groundbreaking music career. "I had alotta fun revisiting my early catalog and rethinking some of my more recent material. The result is a booty-shaking, adrenaline inducing, supersonic master blaster from beginning to end!"
In 2007 RuPaul returned to the silver screen with the release of the feature film STARRBOOTY, which RuPaul wrote, produced and starred in the lead role as well as produced the soundtrack.
