Originally from Stowmarket, Suffolk in England, Rupert Wild moved to the states in 1992, after living in a variety of European locations, including Athens, Greece, and Bitburg, Germany. .... Rupert has been playing music all his life in one form or another. His first musical passions were the drums and bass guitar, but he is also comfortable with the six-string. In 2001, things took a decidedly different turn in the musical course of his life when he started to play the Piano. .... The piano opened him up creatively and he started writing, singing, performing and taking on piano students. Now Rupert teaches and performs for a living. .... His music is an acoustic-electric blend, with an emphasis on improvisation during live performance.
