About me:
Rush Fans In Texas started in August 2000 in Houston, Texas.
Since then, members of this loosely organized group, known as RFIT, meet three or four times a year in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or Austin for an evening of eating, drinking, talking, and listening to RUSH!
During the Vapor Trails and R30 tours, members organized or attended pre-concert parties and rocked at the shows together. The gatherings tend to be small, from six to twenty people. (The pre-concert parties were, of course, much larger.)
We welcome fellow RUSH fans with open arms and cold drinks, and do not exclude anyone with a love of RUSH and a positive attitude.
For more information about RFIT, join us on our mailing list.
(Our profile shows our "birthday" in August, because that's when RFIT and the RFIT mailing list started. We also list ourselves as a 40ish female to reduce the number of lame porn "friend requests" we get, but we have many men and younger people in the group too.)
Who I'd like to meet: Fellow RUSH Fans and progressive rock fans!
Happy Valentines Day Texas RUSH fans. Hope to be out tonight seeing Frush at the Concert Pub here in H-Town, and meeting some members of the group but I lost my voice and feel completely ill, so it depends on if these pills kick in and I have enough strength
Hi Eddy! So happy to hear about the Rushcon locale still being in Toronto this year as a few of us had planned on attending and had Toronto in mind! Do you have "hard dates" in July yet? Just hoping to mark my calendar! Also... can't help but be curious about whatever news you heard that firmed up the Toronto locale again... Sounds mysterious. I like it!
