Rushing wind is a hard rocking christian band proclaiming the name of JESUS with their own unique musical sound , a blending of Metal , Southern Rock , and Punk. They achieved success with the release of their first album in 1991 GOD RULES , having three songs getting air play on local Chattanooga stations. "I never knew you" stayed the number one most requested song on Power Praise(a friday night Christian Metal radio program on local stations) for 4 weeks only to be replaced by another of their songs "Turn or Burn" which held the spot for 3 weeks. "Lord You Are" a worship song recieved air play with the softer contemporary music. With some personal changes the group carried on till it disbanded in 1993. Now almost 15 years later the band has gotten back together with its orginal members (Bass-Tony Moore ,Vocals Rich. Huff , Drummer Rick Parish , Guitarist Carl McGill and new Guitarist Zack McGill)
