The spring of 2006, the Lord spoke a devine word to Evangelist LaShonda C. Harrell concerning her life and ministry. The word was 'UPON THIS ROCK I SHALL BUILD MY TEMPLE AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT.' Evangelist began to ponder on that word questioning her readiness for such a ministry. The Lord spoke to her again and said, BEFORE I FORMED THEE IN THE BELLY, I KNEW THEE. BEFORE YOU CAMEST FORTH OUT OF THE WOMB , I SANCTIFIED THEE AND I ORDAINED THEE A PROPHET TO ALL NATIONS. Prophetic Evangelist began her ministry via internet through prayer chats, sermon blogs, telephone ministry, street ministries, counseling, and more outbound speaking engagements.
The Lord began to use her mightily in the prophetic office. God Almighty, the Lord of Host used Prophetess LaShonda C. Harrell to speak, declare, and decree the undisputed Word of the Lord. While diligently working in the prophetic vineyard, the Lord saw fit to send a host of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, and Pastors, to guide her to the next demension of ministry.
Prophetess Harrell burried herself in the Word of God and in college. Through this stage she took to the mentorship of one of New York's Anointed vessel of God's Prophet Trevor T. Greene from Touch and Agree Ministries Inc. Prophetess turned to the Lord for instructions. God opened a door for her to be taught by none other than Bishop T.H.Swenson in California, the presiding bishop of the American Fellowship of Churches where she was licensed and ordained as Pastor.
Never forgetting where Pastor LaShonda C. Harrell came from, she has her beautiful aunt Pastor Lori C. Coe of Greater Faith Voice of Deliverance Temple Inc to thank personally. Pastor Lori Coe has taught Pastor Harrell important life lessons in the ministry of healing and deliverance. Along with that Pastor Lori Coe taught Pastor Andrews the true meaning of being a Lady in God.
God has given Pastor Harrell instructions for birthing her ministry. The Lord said,"SEE I HAVE THIS DAY SET THEE OVER THE NATIONS AND OVER KINGDOMS, TO ROOT OUT, AND TO PULL DOWN, AND TO DESTROY, AND TO THROW DOWN, TO BUILD AND TO PLANT." Taking this calling seriously, Pastor Harrell sought the Lord threw much prayer, fasting, consecrations, and suplications for a name for the church.
On August 12, 2007 The Upper Room Deliverance Ministries Inc came forth. With the support of her mother Robin Williams, daughter A'marie Andrews, brother Prophet Trevor Greene, sister Evangelist Lawanda Sparrow, aunt Pastor Lori Coe, The Upper Room Deliverance Ministries Inc is well underway.
Our belief:
We at THE UPPER ROOM DELIVERANCE MINISTRIES believe GOD is the creator of the earth and the fullness thereof. We believe the HOLY BIBLE is GOD’S divine word written by HIS prophets, evangelists, and apostles. We follow the TEN COMMANDMENTS. We worship only one GOD. We know JESUS is GOD in the form of flesh who died, resurrected, ascended into heaven, and left us HIS HOLY SPIRIT. We understand that JESUS died and redeemed us by his blood for the salvation of our souls and the remission of our sins. JESUS is the MESSIAH and we put no other gods before HIM. JESUS is the way the truth and the life; no man can come to the father except by HIM. The HOLY SPIRIT is our COMFORTER and the CONVICTOR of our soul.
Our Mission:
Our Mission is to spread the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST to all nations; baptizing in the name of the FATHER, SON and HOLY GHOST. Our mission is to be obedient to the SPIRIT of GOD and make full proof of our ministries. We will heal the broken hearted, preach deliverance to the captives, recover sight to the blind, and set liberty to them that are bruised. We will love one another as CHRIST loves the church. We will love each other as we love ourselves.
Our Ministry:
We are a NONDENOMINATIONAL ministry. We don’t follow any doctrine of other denominational ministries. Because the LORD can not be limited to a specific denomination, we have adopted the perfect will of GOD. Our belief in denominations are that they are DEMONS-IN-NATIONS that comes to divide the body of CHRIST. For we know that we are one body with CHRIST being the head. Denominations are doctrines that suit’s the needs of certain groups. With that in mind, we are NONDENOMINATIONAL because we refuse to seek after the things of the flesh, and seek after the things that are of GOD.
