Yeah, 9/11 is my B/day....had an odd day too. Couldn't go play my regular Empire State Building gig because it oured all day and night (our fall hit suddenly) so I recorded instead.....I have a very old drummer friend staying w/ me foir a few weeks....Johnny Dick (JD) from the "In Focus" band. We are celebrating our 40 year re-union by recording a CD. So far, so good.....six tracks down.... How are you doing Brian, I miss you. Wilojuice XXXX
Hey Brian, Yeah, my new guitar is called "The 5th Avenue Kingpin". It's made by Godin, which (as you probably know) is the same company that makes Seagull acoustics. It looks great and it has a really warm tone. I sanded the back of the neck down to bare wood like I do all of my guitars and it plays like a dream. I picked it up new for $600. It's advertised as a hollow body electric but it feels alot like an acoustic. It's definitely my most played guitar these days. Check it out. http://www.godinguitars.com/godin5thavenuekingpinp.htm
Thank you and thank you once again for recommending The Bad Plus! Awesome music! Maybe I should stop smoking to be able to spare for an airplane-ticket to the States. It may take a decade or two, so stay active till then, okay? :D Cheers! Z
Hi! Thank you for accepting the request! Your music is just what I've been searching for a long-long time. It's GREAT! :D I wish I could see you on stage someday, but you're on the other side of the planet... Any chance of coming to Eastern-Europe someday? I wish you good gigs and a nice summer! Greetings: Zoltán
