Ruslan Tagirov is a music producer/remixer/keyboardist/live electronic music performer from Yekaterinburg (where recenly moved from Perm, both cities situated in the Urals region of Russia).
Remixing credits include a number of artists and projects such as Daybehavior (Sweden), Color Theory (US), Monica Schroeder (Canada), Camouflage (Germany) - winner of remixing contest for 'We Are Lovers', Virtual Server (DJ RAM), Olga Noel & Moscow Grooves Institute, Deejedies/Nuclear Losb, Module, Sensor, Technology, Do-Up (Russia) and others.
Ruslan’s musical alter ego is INBOX, mostly sounding as easy listening melodic electronic music and combining synthpop, downtempo, lounge, intelligent d’n’b, electronica and other styles.
Now the debut INBOX album 'Standing On A Bridge' is almost finished. The album features Ruslan Tagirov as sound producer/songwriter/singer, you may also hear the excellent voice of Brian Hazard (aka Color Theory) on three songs. Brian also wrote the lyrics for two titles and helped Ruslan to correct the lyrics for the other tracks. This is an excellent example of remote co-operation via internet resulting in a bunch of nice songs.
Besides INBOX, Ruslan is a co-founder of live electronic project Dos Buratinos together with his friends. They have fun playing and jammin’ freestyle-jazzy-easy-smiley lounge/dance electronica with a groovebox, laptop, sax, vocals and a number of synths and fx. Dos Buratinos are known in Russia for their live electronic performances and as a remixing team with excellent taste and feel
Also Ruslan is a non-format dj, playing his favourite chill/ electronic/ nu-jazz/ deep-tech house/ minimal/ etc sets in cafees and chill-outs in Perm and Yekatrinburg. You can always see people smiling and having a good time while these dj sets.
And, finally, Ruslan is known as session keyboardist/groovemaker with some other bands.
