For an Englishman who was born and still lives in the heart of the British countryside, Russ Ballard has certainly made his presence felt around the globe.

The first song that he ever wrote, aged 15, was covered by The Shadows from there he went on to play in The Roulettes with friend Adam Faith, top the charts with Unit 4 Plus 2, tour the world with The Zombies and front the hugely successful Argent.and that was all before he had found success as a solo artist, songwriter or producer!!

Russ has sung, played, produced and written his way to over 50 million record sales, capturing Top 5 status, in each of the past 5 decades, in virtually every known record market in the world, having enjoyed entire years without being out of the US Top 100 holding as many as four separate chart positions the same week with different hits AND albums!
