Shot while sailing on The Bounty in Sydney Harbor during the Australian Winter of 2001, "Sail Those Same Oceans" was the single from the 30 Odd Foot of Grunts 2001 release "Bastard Life or Clarity". A great summer for the band in the US with VH1 playing the video, radio playing the single and wonderful memories of the sold out 2001 US Summer Tour.

Formerly 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, the very start of the Russell Crowe & The Ordinary Fear of God "My Hand, My Heart" cd was the composition of the song "Raewyn" (one of twelve tracks on the album "My Hand, My Heart," and the first of six songs of which are co-written by Canadian producer Alan Doyle from the band Great Big Sea).
A chance meeting between Russell and Alan Doyle backstage at a hockey awards night in Toronto ended up in song writing sessions in Canada and Australia. This evolved into an intense four-week writing and recording project, a call to a bunch of mates created the band, and after many long nights, "My Hand, My Heart" was recorded at the padded cell in Nana Glen, Australia. Tour dates followed in 2005 & 2006 in Australia as well as dates in Los Angeles, San Diego & New York City.
"My Hand, My Heart" is available for download at iTunes stores in all territories. The hardcopy of the cd (as well as download) is available at all Sanity stores in Australia and at www.sanity.com.au.
