I was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and moved to yukon, Oklahoma when I was 2. I was raised on a farm and learned to be a hard worker, but I knew I was destined to be an entertainer. I was the winner of my high school talent show twice after particpating since 1st grade. I was all started by my mothers Elvis album and started playing guitar, learning heartbreak hotel as my first song. I moved to San Diego where I practiced Stand up comedy for a while, but music was my love so I played in many bands on the California coast and soon walked away from the stand up routines. I moved back to Oklahoma and played in clubs all over and started playing my way to Texas. There I was inspired by by Robert Earl Keen who's music was different than that being done in Nashville and I realized that though my music may not be wanted in Nashville I now had a new place to bring them to. Finally my job took me to North West Arkansas where I live today. My heart is still in Texas and the Red Dirt Sounds. My influences range from Elvis, to Johnny Cash, Hank Jr. and Lynryd Sknryd oh yea you can throw in ZZ top also. I am currently in the studio working on my first Cd Titled "Get Kahn'd" I hope to release it in April on Iron Pig Records. You will hear all of those influences entertwine in this cd. Country, Rock, Southern Rock, Bluegrass and folk.
