The foundation for Rusted Valor was quickly and crudely laid down in early January, 2009 by lead guitarist Bob “The Metal Man” Schubert. Do to Bob’s persistence and obsession with his newly developed Rusted Valor “World Domination Battle Plan” the “Metal Man” was not willing to let anything, not even the apocalypse itself, stand in the way of what was to come.

Shortly after Rusted Valor’s conceptual development arose the addition of one of Bobs long time friends Russ Hofelzer on rhythm guitar. With these two guitarists history spanning nearly twelve years, it was only logical for Bob to offer Hofelzer the spot first before consulting with other musicians. Drummer Drake Schumann had also entered the band within its early stages and with many years of studio experience, proved to be a very excellent choice. These three extremely talented players shown to be detrimental in forming pillars that R.V. was to stand on in the months ahead.

Rusted Valor front men? Eck…what a nightmare!?!! Deciding on a singer was a daunting task, at best. After auditioning more vocalist than any band should ever have to endure and meeting some of the most arrogant and unstable people on the planet… they eventually found a match. Once all the smoke and debris of auditions cleared Jarred Blackstone proved to be vocally and personally exactly what the band had been combing North America for. With the forth pillar of the Rusted Valor empire in place World Domination became, and still remains, this bands only daily focus. Their fantastic energy and “Metal Might” has drawn thrashers from all across the world to the same conclusion…Rusted Valor…IS HERE TO STAY!!!
