Rusti Steel & The Star Tones is a 4-piece (sometimes a 5-piece when we rope in our fiddle player for Hillbilly/Western Swing nights) group specializing in authentic 50's Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Hillbilly Bop, Western Swing - in fact, if it's 50's and Rockin', we do it! The wealth of experience (records, radio, TV, personal appearances, etc.) of the band members promises a professional performance and their love and feel for 50's music gives the band an authentic, raunchy 50's sound fit to fill the dance floor "like bees 'round a hive"! The variety of material in our repertoir will please anyone who is into 50's music, whatever particular style they may be into.
Have a listen to our sample trax - better still, buy our CD, "Rusti Steel - The Embassy Sessions" on Foot Tapping Records (available by ringing Foot Tapping Records on 01252 627395 or email: sales@foottappingrecords.co.uk) or come and see us at one of our gigs. Best of all - do both! I look forward to meeting you.

Hi there Big R, pack of eighteen I think you cut down there . I remember on the tour bus the whole of the luggage hold was filled for your personal protection, and had to be restocked constantly(and little Jackie Rabbit Slim thinks he's Rampant). The sad part of my message to you though is that my boy passed away at th tender age of 68 he had a massive heart attack when his mama introduced me to him. Still his mama's claim for maintainance won't hold up in court . I offered that woman the use of the Chittlin Wagon to transport the body Thee Turkee Mule was willing to pull it, for a small fee (usually a crate of Newcastle Brown) and I said the band would play, I evan told her I would ask the great El Rusto if you would play . Well after she had done screamin' and that was just at the mension of your name I thought I'd better get out of there and quick as I don't want her bothering you. I still think she was disapointed at gettin the chittlin and not the Big R . Well God bless ya buddie your friend the Chittlin
