and in general, industrial, goth, techno, 90's alternative, 80's, and world. I have a lot of music in japanese, icelandic and romanian on my computer.
Movies
pretty much anything I watch, for a while after I watch it. I don't like re-watching movies very much. Recently, I've seen Cannibal!: The Musical, Into the Wild, the Naruto movies, American Psycho, Dawn of the Dead, and Serenity, which is one I actually don't mind re-watching. A few others I don't mind re-watching are Star Wars (all of 'em, preferably back-to-back and in order), Pi (even though it never fails to give me a migraine), anything by Quentin Tarantino, most zombie movies, Dirty Dancing, Miss Congeniality, and several others I'm sure I'm forgetting.
Television
The X-Files, Dexter, Six Feet Under, and Firefly are my faves. These are swiftly followed by Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach (subbed only, dubs rip the heart and soul out of anime and stomp it into the ground). I also watch Torchwood, Dr. Who, 90210, Privileged, The Mentalist, Reaper, The Bernie Mac Show, and I've just started to watch House. When I had cable I loved Alton Brown, Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, Survivorman, Man vs. Wild, The Deadliest Catch, How It's Made, Paula Deen, and nearly everything on Food Network, really. I always love Nature shows, shows on the paranormal or metaphysical, shows on forensics, and cool medical stuff.
Books
My favorite authors are Laurell K. Hamilton, Poppy Z. Brite, Terry Goodkind, Stephen King, Peter Vronsky, and Mary Janice Davidson, but I'm thoroughly addicted and will read virtually anything I can get my hands on.
Heroes
my grandma, my friends, my cats, Nature, and children.
