REAL! That’s how you describe RUSTY BLADEN. Genuine homegrown country fried rock & roll with a kick that always leaves you wanting more. He is sincere and heartfelt with no apologies and no regrets.
“RIDE THAT RIVER,” the title track to Rusty’s most recent CD, is featured in the MGM major motion picture “MADISON” and recorded with John Mellencamp band members. If you want to smile, cry, laugh, love or just party like crazy, come along for the ride with Rusty Bladen. You’ll hear a voice like no other. Rusty has taken his strongest musical influences and blended them into something unique, true to himself and his voice.
If you call Rusty a Good Ole Boy, he’ll just smile with pride as he was born and raised in Madison, Indiana, a quiet town on the Ohio river between Cincinnati and Louisville. His original songs reflect the importance of family values, good times and small town influences.
Rusty has played tons of clubs, fairs, festivals, private events and colleges around the Midwest and has an extremely loyal following.
He's learned a lot along the way from his heroes and friends, but his live show, whether acoustic solo or full band, is pure RUSTY BLADEN...wide open with lots of crowd participation and energy.
From the back yards and front porches to the stages of America, you can see and hear RUSTY BLADEN and there’s no doubt you will come away saying WOW!
I just got back from the Seymour fireworks show that was set to music from Radio 96.3. And in the middle of the musical medley of such greats as Willie Nelson, Neil Young & Bruce Springsteen was Indiana's own RUSTY BLADEN!!!!!! Happy July 4th!

Luckily we were not affected by the flood, but my mom was worried cause she lives on Westgate behind the high school. They sand bagged the driveway and moved everything out of the basement, but the water never made it to her house. Have you talked to anyone at O'Brien's about playing there?
