Originally from Clifton, New Jersey, Rod Hamdallah
has been tearing up Atlanta's vibrant blues scene since he
was too young to order his first drink...
At 16, Rod began soaking up the southern blues sound
at a relentless pace from iconic Chicago legends such as
Magic Sam and Otis Rush, the blues delta pioneers and from the
personal examples of celebrated Atlanta greats like
Donnie McCormick and Sean Costello.
Now in 2009, Rod has gained that all-important momentum,
wowing crowds across the southeast, leaving a wake of
accolades that continue to earn him top spots in the
south's difficult-to-impress blues venues.
Rod is currently touring the southeast region and is
in pre-production for his debut full-length album in
2010.
