Welcome to our MySpace! We are the Rutgers University chapter of Engineers Without Borders - USA.
What is Engineers Without Borders?
Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In order for our chapter of EWB to accomplish many of the projects we have begun, we need to raise money, and lots of it! By donating below, your money goes directly to pay for supplies and research, for many of our current projects.
Your money will help build a bridge in El Salvador across a river that frequently floods. Your money will help build and install solar powered water purifiers in Hill Tribe villages in Thailand, so less people will suffer from water born illness. Your money will fund post Katrina relief work in New Orleans. We ask you to please consider donating! Just a little bit of money greatly helps us support all of these goals!
By clicking "ChipIn" on the widget below you will be prompted to copy and paste a URL to a secure paypal donation page. Please enter the amount you wish to donate and we thank you for ever cent! ALL of your money is used directly for funding projects, and please feel free to pass this link on to your friends:
NOTE: Our widget above is set to end March 20th, 2009, not 2008! The year is not shown on the widget, but this fund raiser is still active! Thanks! Also,l when leaving MySpace to donate, you will be prompted that our link may be a "phishing" link. We guarantee you that our link is secure, and should you have any questions or concerns donating to our organization you can contact the Rutgers Engineers Without Borders directly at ruewb@eden.rutgers.edu.
